Bow Gate
Bow gates are 14 gage square tubing on the frames. The verticals have a second support 6 inches in from the exterior. They are spaced to allow ease of attaching chains and it adds a great deal of support to the interior gate. Swing gates come with chains. Slam latches can be added for $20 each.
Three sizes available for exterior frame. 1.25-inch, 1.5 inch, and 1 &7/8 inch. Standard widths are 8’, 10’, and 12’. Other lengths available. The gates have 7 feet of clearance height.
The 1.25 inch options and 1.5-inch models are great for calving pens. They are heavy enough to handle the job and still be easily moved after calving season. The 1 & 7/8 model is more robust for areas of high pressure, including near crowding tubs and working facilities.
